So remember that audition I went on in March where it was more like an interview than an audition? Well I just got word that I officially booked it! The feature is called, "There's Something About Joe," and it's an ensemble cast of 5 people (including myself) and I play the role of Jenny. I actually was called in to read for another character, but once there, they had me cold read Jenny's sides and I ended up getting the part! The feature is about a small class reunion of sorts where the mystery of what happened to Joe comes up and who was behind his untimely death. It's a fun whodunit and should be really interesting to work on. The director hired a lot of theatre actors because he wants to film it in one shot as much as possible- so I definitely have my work cut out for me! So excited and so honored that I this opportunity panned out and get to play in this exciting new role!
